Even before Democratic leaders have enacted a five-day workweek, cross-party opposition is growing, with senators and House members simmering over the new schedule.

A new five-day workweek implemented by Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada is causing a family feud among lawmakers, who say their own spouses and children would suffer from the more taxing work schedule.
