To provide all low-income students with the same opportunity to receive a Pell Grant by eliminating the tuition sensitivity provision in the Pell Grant program.

H.R. 1010 - Rep. George Miller [D-CA]
To ensure that Federal student loans are delivered as efficiently as possible in order to provide additional grant aid to students.

H.R. 1017 - Rep. John Dingell [D-MI]
To amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to improve requirements under the Medicaid Program for items and services furnished in or through an educational program or setting to children, including children with developmental, physical, or mental health needs, and for other purposes.

H.R. 1051 - Rep. Rush Holt [D-NJ]
To direct the Secretary of Education to establish and maintain a public website through which individuals may find a complete database of available scholarships, fellowships, and other programs of financial assistance in the study of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

H.R. 1056 - Rep. Ronald Paul [R-TX]
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow individuals a credit against income tax for tuition and related expenses for public and nonpublic elementary and secondary education.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a credit against income tax for amounts contributed to charitable organizations which provide elementary or secondary school scholarships and for contributions of, and for, instructional materials and materials for extracurricular activities.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow the Hope Scholarship Credit to be used for elementary and secondary expenses.

To authorize the Secretary of Education to make grants to educational organizations to carry out educational programs about the Holocaust.

H.R. 1156 - Rep. Nita Lowey [D-NY]
To provide grants to eligible consortia to provide professional development to superintendents, principals, and prospective superintendents and principals.

H.R. 1166 - Rep. James Marshall [D-GA]
To direct the Secretary of Education to extend the same level of increased flexibility to all rural local educational agencies under part A of title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.

To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to clarify Federal requirements under such Act.

To increase community service by students at risk of education failure and thereby reduce youth and gang violence.
