Family

H.R. 1004 - Rep. Lynn Woolsey [D-CA]
To authorize the Attorney General to make grants to improve the ability of State and local governments to prevent the abduction of children by family members, and for other purposes.

H.R. 1104 - Rep. Fortney Stark [D-CA]
To ensure that foster children are able to use their social security and supplemental security income benefits to address their needs and improve their lives.

H.R. 1115 - Rep. Thomas Latham [R-IA]
To amend section 1477 of title 10, United States Code, to provide additional options regarding the designation of the person to receive the death gratuity paid with respect to a member of the Armed Forces who dies without a surviving spouse, but who is survived by a minor child.

H.R. 1158 - Rep. Nita Lowey [D-NY]
To amend title II of the Social Security Act to eliminate the two-year waiting period for divorced spouse's benefits following the divorce.

H.R. 1159 - Rep. Nita Lowey [D-NY]
To amend title II of the Social Security Act to provide for full benefits for disabled widows and widowers without regard to age.

H.R. 1160 - Rep. Nita Lowey [D-NY]
To amend title II of the Social Security Act to provide for increases in widow's and widower's insurance benefits by reason of delayed retirement.

H.R. 1161 - Rep. Nita Lowey [D-NY]
To amend title II of the Social Security Act to credit prospectively individuals serving as caregivers of dependent relatives with deemed wages for up to five years of such service.

H.R. 1162 - Rep. Nita Lowey [D-NY]
To amend title II of the Social Security Act to repeal the 7-year restriction on eligibility for widow's and widower's insurance benefits based on disability.

Housing

H.R. 1043 - Rep. Stephanie Jones [D-OH]
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to modify the rehabilitation credit and the low-income housing credit.
