By a voice vote, the House on Thursday approved the rule for H.R. 2055, the appropriations bill for military construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and related agencies. The bill would increase funding for VA by 5.8 percent above FY 2011 levels, and would increase overall funding for VA and related agencies by $3.3 billion compared to FY 2011.
