The House passed H.R. 1256, to direct the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to jointly adopt rules setting forth the application to cross-border swaps transactions of certain provisions relating to swaps that were enacted as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, by a recorded vote of 301 ayes to 124 noes, Roll No. 218.

The House began consideration of H.R. 1960, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2014 for military activities of the Department of Defense and for military construction and to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year. Consideration is expected to resume tomorrow, June 13th.
