Family Farmer Bankruptcy Clarification Act--Referral Agreement:
A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing that the Committee on Finance be discharged from further consideration of S. 1427, to amend title 11 of the United States Code to clarify the rule allowing discharge as a nonpriority claim of governmental claims arising from the disposition of farm assets under chapter 12 bankruptcies, and the bill then be referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

At 11 a.m., there will be a bipartisan, bicameral remembrance ceremony of the 12th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Members will gather in the rotunda at 10:45 a.m.
